This was for my husband who has always been a casual laptop user, with most of his powerhouse work being done on a fast desktop that we keep up to date. His last laptop was an HP with great specs but they can be costly. He says he sometimes has multiple videos running at the same time and it handles it well. Screen is bright and the speakers are great. This claims it can get 12 hours of life out of the battery with casual use but I'm going to guess that brightness was turned all the way low because we've been seeing about half that with it most the way up - still very good compared to most laptops. And with recent chrome OS updates this thing has started to run better. It can charge via USB-C, on BOTH sides, turns off quick and is super slim and light. Does not get hot and is responsive. We would recommend this lap top to all and another thing we really like is the back lit keyboard.
