Large capacity 8,000mAh battery. Low, medium, high, and variable speeds. High speed is GREAT. This is a powerful little fan. I have purchased 8 so far. I have given 7 to family and friends for especially power outage situations. I carry mine with me when I leave my house just in case it's too hot somewhere I go.
