absolutely love the Birdfy birdhouse. we set it up late in the season so no one has taken up tesidence yet, but it works wonderfully. Built very well, bird friendly in regards to the airflow interior.Live the solar panel to keep the wifi camera charged. Probably the only recommendation would be to also come with hooks so that it could hang from a vranch or shepherds hook.

Best purchase we made from W this year!! We really enjoyed the "birds eye view" of watching our family of bluebirds through the process of choosing the house, building the nest, laying the eggs, eggs hatching, babies growing, all in front of our eyes. The camera functions really well and the solar panel kept us fully charged at all times. It was easy to use the Birdfy app to check in on our bluebird family and to capture photos to share with our family and neighbors. Everyone really loooked forward to our updates! There is an optional bird-identifying subscription service that you can purchase - we did not need it for our purposes. We also didn't feel the need to pay for additional cloud storage, etc., so we found Birdfy to be very economical compared to other options out there. We are just thrilled with this purchase and can't wait until it's nesting time again!

The camera is not working with my wifi that has 5 rather than 2.4 that is required. I am not savvy enough to figure out how to change the wifi to the 2.4. The wood that is used will split easily if you put a screw in to hold it on a post that supports the box from the bottom.. The information provided on the website does not indicate the setting needed for internet to work with your cell phone. I sprayed the box with Thompson water seal in the hopes to protect the wood from wet weather.
