Super sturdy. I use it in my garage to shelve a bunch of random items. I installed wooden boards at each level to allow small items to not fall. It can hold a decent amount of weight just got to keep in mind that heavier items go in the bottom shelves and the lighter ones go on top. It's very sturdy and I can't recommend it enough
