Directions

Fabric Care Instructions

We recommend using a detergent formulated specifically for wool for best results. Like all loom-woven blankets, this blanket will shed during the first few washes. You can machine wash your blanket separately in cold water on a delicate cycle but do not use a washer that contains a center agitator. To maximize the life of your blanket (and to avoid unnecessary shedding), we recommend washing your blanket by hand. Use your washer's spin cycle to remove excess water - then line dry away from direct heat. Do not tumble dry using heat. Once the blanket is dry - use the NO heat "air fluff" dryer cycle to "vacuum off" any loose blanket fibers. If you would like, this blanket also can be dry cleaned.

Perfect old school military blanket

This is the perfect blanket. In the old days, these type of blankets were standard for warmth. It's going to shed, it's going to get fuzzy. If you want to be warm, this it, so pleased I found this company. They also included a postcard thanking me for the purchase and explaining they are a military type company. Ultimate winter blanket, perfect for camping. I would like to see a larger size, but the fit was good.
