Waverly Inspirations Wax Paint Kit, Set of 3, 8 fl oz Each, Antique Brown and Clear

This is perfect for what I need. I am working on a piano to turn into a vanity. I used chalk paint to cover it with and then I used this wax kit to go over the chalk paint and it turned out wonderful. I have received several compliments on this and plan to do more projects with more kits.

The Waverly Inspirations 13409 Wax Kit comes in a set of 3 with two bottles of clear and one bottle of "antique." Each bottle is 8 fl oz and is used as a top coat to seal projects using Waverly Inspirations Chalk Paint. Since this was my first time using a product like this I followed the directions to use the Waverly Inspirations Wax Brush to apply this after I finished painting my chairs (I did a leaf pattern on the backs). The wax helps to protect the paint and make it last longer and less likely to chip or wear off. The directions say to reapply the wax every 6-12 months as needed and it needs to be buffed after applying. Since I finished my project about a week ago I have not needed to reapply and my chairs look very nice. I think it is a good idea having the wax top coat on items that get handled or touched a lot. My leaf designs look very nice and everything still looks newly painted without any wear in the design. I have not used the antique wax and I think I would prefer the set coming with 3 clear bottles or being able to buy them as singles to get just the colors I want. This is a good set if you have plans for both colors.
