Great blue gem with extra sparkle

This is a great gem necklace. The simple dark blue prism cut sapphire stone is the centerpiece. A tiny diamond stone adds more sparkle. The sterling silver setting is like a box hiding behind the stones. The combination is lovely. On a dark background like the material of the box it came in, the diamond sparkle is more evident but on a bright background the blue stone steals the show. It is a very elegant decoration. The decoration hangs from the chain by a large loop that slides easily on the chain. The chain is very delicate but not so delicate as to be fragile. The clasp is easy to use. The chain length of 18 inches is just right for me. I think this necklace will make a great looking gift when you take it out of its plastic bags and hang it inside the gift box. It wears so well with lots of different outfits and styles. It is especially great with blue jeans. Overall, this jewelry exceeded my expectations, and the price is very reasonable for the value.
