Making my desk herb garden dream a reality!

Growing some herbs indoors to keep the isolation covid/winter blues away. Followed recommended instructions on the back of the package regarding seedlings (about 8" above, at least 14 hrs light) along with covering the pots with plastic wrap/film to keep soil moist during germination process. All the seeds sprouted around or under 5 days (twice as fast)! So far so good, will have to wait and see how well the seedlings grow.

The bulb fits into a standard sized socket (I bought two and have both of mine in normal desk lamps). They're a very bright white and give off a surprising amount of light. I know that at least my mint plant likes it--the tendrils clearly grow toward the grow light (and away from my window).
