I love that the design is so thin and so easily manageable or you can put it in your suitcase if you're traveling and it's not big and bulky. The plates warm up super hot super fast so when you're in a pinch to hurry up and do your hair it's done safety wise as long as you keep your hands on the black and not the plates itself. It is super reliable and good. I've had this for going on seven years. Honestly, I would never go back what I love most is you can also do curls in your hair while you're straight so you may want to straighten the top but then do little waves or beach waves towards the end and it's thin enough where you're able to without an issue.
