Sterilite 30 Gal Extra-Large Plastic Storage Bin with Snap-On Lid, Gray

I used this 30 gallon and an 18 gallon to make an outdoor cat shelter. I used reflective insulation inside this one, on the top, bottom, and sides. I used foam insulation between the 30 gallon and this one; on the top, bottom, and sides. I cut a hole through both bins, on the far right side (a long side, not a short side) and close to the lid. I used the cut out plastic parts to seal all sides of the cut out hole and then added reflective insulation around it as well. I used duct tape to tape everything down. I drilled holes all around the lid and used zip ties to tie it down. I then duct taped the entire lid down, going over the zip ties. I filled it 2/3 with straw (Never use hay!) and put it outside on top of a palate with thin wood over the palate. When I went out to feed the strays today, I saw one of the kittens sleeping comfortably in the storage bin home!
