You can never go wrong with WD. Their products are top notch. When they say 5 million hours, that's just what is means. I still am running a hard drive I bought in 2005 in my PC. It may be approaching near end of life, but as long as it keeps running, I'll continue to use it. My recent purchase (WD Black 2TB SDD I now use as a storage backup. Very simple to install and get it up a running. I am confident it will give me exceptional service just like my current WD 300GB 10K VelociRaptor hard drive.
