Better than expected!!! :)

After my original Mainstays brand automatic opening garbage can, it took me at least a month to decide on which one I would buy next since that was no longer available; and I really liked it! (And it was a good price point.) The one major flaw was that it smelled awful. Even with the lid closed, it still just made the entire kitchen smell terribly Unless I double bagged and always left that second bag in there. So, after much research %26 consideration, I decided to purchase this garbage can and honestly I love it. It is a little bit shorter than I would like, but at least it doesn't stink up the whole kitchen! Definitely it gets stinkier than a normal one would when you open the lid, but once you close it that smell is gone. I have had zero issues with it, and it's been 2-3 months now. I really like the function where you can turn it on and off on the back of the lid so that it doesn't keep on opening and closing when it's not being needed or used in order to conserve the battery (or to hide the smell) or just to not be annoying. So overall, yes I would absolutely recommend this product!
