This heavy duty black t-shirt is made of 100% cotton fabric. The one I have is sized Large, for a 10-12 year old child. As with most t-shirts of this size, it tends to be somewhat short and wide, rather than narrow and long. Although the shirt could be worn by either gender, the neck style and sleeve length are that of a typical boys' t-shirt. The front of the shirt is decorated/imprinted with the image of a long necktie, somewhat shiny, with various sizes of red hearts on it. This would be a fun design to wear to a Valentine's Day party or other special occasion, making it feel a little more “dressy” for a child than a simple t-shirt. The imprinted tie does not go through to the inside of the shirt and is therefore not irritating at all to the skin. The fabric is strong, yet soft to wear. It will likely get softer feeling, the more it is washed. The shirt appears to be well constructed, with no side seams. You would not want to use bleach when laundering this dark color, and you should dry it at a moderate dryer temperature – to avoid shrinkage of the 100% cotton. I would recommend this as a fun t-shirt for youth who wear size Large.
