These actually surprised me in a good way. I stuck them in the yard thinking “okay, we’ll see…” and then that night—boom—my backyard looked way more put together than I deserve. Not super bright stadium lighting or anything, but a nice soft glow that makes everything feel a little fancier. Setup was easy. Like, no instructions needed easy. Just stick them in the ground and let the sun do its thing. Only thing is a couple of them weren’t as bright as the others, so it’s not perfectly uniform. Not a dealbreaker, just noticeable if you’re looking for it. Overall though? They do the job and make the yard look good without any effort, which is exactly what I needed.

I bought these silver solar landscape lights to replace my old existing black lights. They were easy to install, however after two days of no lights I was thinking I’d return them. I read customer reviews again, checked the instructions to make sure that I didn’t forget a step. I disassembled the light housing to discover an on/off switch. Nowhere in the instructions said you had to turn these on. I turned on all switches and reassembled the light housing and to my surprise within about four hours noticed the lights turned on. The color is a subtle cool white. It is not bright. The housing is beveled, casting a wide star like light on the ground. If the manufacturer had put in the instructions that you had to turn the switch on I would’ve given this a five star rating. Additionally one of the cylinders is bent to a point where I can’t use it therefore the four star rating stands.
