I've never bought pants like these but I needed something to wear someplace that's different from jeans. These pants are comfortable. They are loose-fitting and seem to work well with shoes or boots so far. I haven't washed them yet so I don't know if they need to be ironed or can just be put in the dryer. The price was excellent.
