All 6 lids have broken — very disappointed

I purchased six Bentgo salad containers because I liked the design and expected them to be durable and worth the money. Unfortunately, every single one of the six lids has broken. I spent good money on these, and I expected them to last much longer. I really wanted to like these containers, but having all six lids break is unacceptable. Bentgo needs to seriously look into the durability of these lids.

Hi, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback regarding your Bentgo Glass Salad Containers. We would love the opportunity to assist you and help ensure your containers last as long as possible. To help extend the life of your containers and prevent damage, we recommend placing the lids on the top rack of the dishwasher only, or hand-washing them when possible. Additionally, avoiding extreme temperature shifts, such as moving the container directly from the freezer to the microwave and releasing the clear vent plug before microwaving or sealing will help protect the hinges and seal over time. Please reach out to our team so we can find a solution for you right away. All of our products are backed by a warranty, and we are happy to assist you with the best solution. You can contact us directly by email at support@bentgo.com or by phone at 657-275-3738. Thank you, Jessica Bentgo Support

Lid hinge poor quality

These were great until the lids broke. I've always handled these with care. They have never been in the freezer or microwave. Third rack, up top only, in my dishwasher or hand wash. This seems to be a common problem.

Lid Hinges Break

My cousin gave me two of these containers as a wedding gift and I love them. Unfortunately, like so many others, the lid clip broke very shortly after I started using them. I came to see if there were replacement parts sold and was very disappointed to find that what seems like the item that breaks the most frequently doesn't have replacement parts available. Now I have a perfectly good glass container and insert that I can't use because the lid will not seal. I do not recommend buying this product even though I love it because it breaks so easily.

Hi Shar, Thank you for sharing your feedback, and I am so sorry to hear that the lid clip on your Bentgo Glass Salad Container broke. We completely understand how frustrating it is to have a great container you can't use properly. To help prevent clip damage in the future, please ensure the compartment tray is always placed inside the bowl before latching, as trying to close it without the tray can force and break the latches. Make sure the top lid is aligned evenly and pressed down firmly before snapping each clip into place, as any gaps place extra stress on the clips. We want to make this right for you, and your product is backed by our warranty. Please reach out to our Bentgo Support team at 657-275-3738 or support@bentgo.com so we can help you with a replacement or solution. Thank you, Jessica Bentgo Support
