This is exactly the first lens you should purchase for the Canon R50 V. Skip the kit lens, buy the camera body only, and invest in this amazing lens instead! The Sigma 18–50mm f/2.8 is compact, versatile, and produces beautiful, sharp images. The constant f/2.8 aperture is especially valuable for video, portraits, indoor shooting, and creating a more professional cinematic look. It balances wonderfully on the R50 V and gives you an extremely useful focal range for everyday photography and video production. I am very pleased with this lens. It is an excellent match for the Canon R50 V and well worth the investment.
