SPRI 3-in-1 Resistance Tube Kit, Includes 3 Levels of Resistance, Exercise Band Kit

I'm not really that tall (5' 10"), but I found these resistance bands to be just about the right length to get the full stroke effect you want with an exercise tool like this. Included with the bands is a brochure showing different exercises to do with the bands and I found all of the exercises could be performed comfortably and well within the length limitations of the bands. There is also a downloadable guide and video on their website that outlines a good workout routine. Each band (there are 3) is color coded to denote it's strength in resisting your pulling during the exercise. You can start off with a lighter pull (it's a simple Velcro strap that adjusts the resistance) and work your way to the heavier single band. Once you've mastered the heaviest single band you can start attaching multiple bands to get more resistance as your strength increases. This is an economical exercise solution that should get you decent results provided you keep doing the routines on some sort of consistent schedule. The exercises are not extremely difficult but you will feel like you've accomplished something by the burning in your muscles when you get done. You could also buy this and make yourself feel better about the resolution you made. These are made from surgical tubing which is quite strong and should be close to indestructible. The handles are just padded fabric but they're reasonably comfortable too.
