Tried other auto curlers but they would not work on my shorter hair. This one is fabulous. I'm 61 and gave up using curling irons years ago as I found them difficult to use and usually damaged my hair. I love the L-R-M feature the most! I do not have to use different buttons. I'm able to 'sas' up my look and have received many compliments. It's convenient that it is rechargeable; however, the charge does not last long. I think I would have preferred cordless so that I wouldn't worry about losing a charge while doing my hair.
