Adaptive Sound Technologies LectroFan Classic, Sound Machine for Sleep, White

I have purchased a couple of these over the years. The first one I purchased must have been six years ago and still going strong. Adjustable volume, adjustable noise options and a non-adjustable rating! I would give this a sixth star if I could! Compared to the ones that actually have a motor, which can get dusty on the inside and have less options (and are albeit NOT digitally produced sounds), I find this to be my go to and one I recommend! Also, it doesn't have soooo many options that you get overwhelmed. But enough options.

We have two WNMs. One is $20 and the other is $30 and rechargeable. The $20 has terrible sound quality, and the $30 has very breakable buttons so it takes several attempts to turn it on, and the sound has artifacts in the background. This is 1-2 years in for each. I knew I wanted a LectroFan from the beginning but didn't want to shell out or look dumb for putting a higher tier machine on the registry. 2 years later and 2 kids in, it's an absolute necessity to have a quality machine like this one. Button controls are simple and very responsive. No extra musical sounds (we rarely use those). Smooth consistent sound. I LOVE the focus on frequency and different fan types. Most WNMs only let you cycle through a few random crappy sounds. This actually lets you control the fine tuning and you can drown out higher pitched sounds (my loud 2 year old while the baby is sleeping) or lower sounds (Jake brakes outside in the early morning). It has been great.
