KitchenAid® 12 Cup Drip Coffee Maker with Spiral Showerhead - Black Matte

We bought this coffee maker in 2019 (it's now 2026), and I just came back here to immediately replace it. This coffee maker held up beautifully until the very end. We have brewed a pot every morning religiously for the last 7 years, using the automatic brew feature 5 frequently. Within the last year or so, the automatic feature was less reliable and started to only follow through about 3 out of 4 times (to be expected with age). The light/function for the front button also went out a couple years back. But these issues obviously never affected the quality of the coffee. It takes about 5-6 minutes for the machine to brew the whole pot. The cleaning setting is helpful, as it comes up on its own schedule when it's time for a cleaning cycle. The brew always turns out smooth and the machine keeps it at the perfect temp for the 2 hour duration of the warmer setting. We initially loved the reusable filter for its environmentally-friendly factor, but we did have to replace the filter multiple times over the years due to the mesh coming apart from the plastic (these filters held up the worst out of every other component). The measurements included on the inside of the filter are a nice component. The coffee maker is a bit tricky to clean. The pot, water tank, and filters are easy enough, but the mechanism that is attached to the machine where the water comes out is essentially impossible to fully clean. Regardless, the life of the coffee maker speaks for itself and I was happily surprised to find that the price point has remained unchanged after 7 years.
