This little shelf fan is exactly what I was looking for and hoping it would be. It fits perfectly on my daughter's shelf, is cute and doesn't detract from her blush pink, girly room. It circulates air well and has a lot of power for such a little fan. I needed something powerful enough to circulate air well, but small, with adjustable settings, and also safe for kiddo fingers. My main objective was to have a setting that wouldn't be too much for my daughter, who has asthma, as the overheard fan is too much for her to tolerate - while also keeping things cute. Mission accomplished. She's been able to tolerate this fan at a distance and I can feel the desired effects around the room - no more stale air. This really does pack power and the adjustable settings are perfect to match different desired outcomes. We keep my daughter's on the 2nd setting. The noise level is also pretty good - especially considering the price point, etc. It is a usb deal, but if you have one or purchase one with a wall plug, you can use it like a regular fan, which is what we do. Very pleased with this purchase!
