Use Foodsaver Brand rolls, not low quality rolls

We have had our Foodsaver for years and we recommend you always use real Foodsaver Bags, not no name aftermarket bags. This will get you the best results as who wants to pull out some fine steaks in poor quality after market bags to find your steaks with some freezer burn from trying to save a few bucks!

Love these bags. Never had leaks. Used for years. Bought machine two decades ago after neighbor enthusiastically showed me the many ways she used hers. Frozen meat stays that way with no ill effects (freezer burn) for much longer than regular freezer bags. And! Putting sealed bags in cold water to thaw more quickly works well too.
