Bought this to make snow cones for my grandkids. THEY LOVE IT!! It is a little noisy but... it is grinding ice so that's to be expected. Only issue is the catch pan is not big enough and that lets ice fall thru to the counter. I use a dish draining mat under it to catch the ice. Wring it out when we are done and let it dry for next time.
