The original Alaskan Chainsaw mill has been updated and optimized for everyday use. For use with saws of 80-90cc and bars up to 36". Clamps onto your chainsaw bar with no drilling required. Tighten clamping brackets on to chain bar to make cuts up to 18” wide and 1/2” to 13” deep. Lightweight and portable, the MKIV enables user to mill lumber where the tree falls. No previous experience required! Ideal for making slabs, planks and beams.CNC-Machined billet end brackets are more accurate, easier to adjust, create less vibration than the die cast versions used my lower-quality mills and are virtually unbreakable. Perfect for homeowners, woodworkers, arborists and sawyers. Optimal results will be had when used in conjunction with Granberg ripping chain.

Great product
The mill was pretty straight forward and easy to assemble. I have used it a few times already and am very pleased with its performance. I purchased the winch directly from the OEM to use with the mill. This is an item Northern should pick up in there line up and recommend with the purchase of the mill.

Great
It is exactly what I wanted. It’s gonna take some time to learn all the tricks that come with any tool but I’m ready. Very happy. I wanted something I can cut my own boards with and do my own thing here and there. And the Alaskan mill is the best way to go

Arrived quickly, perfect condition!
I bought this mill over a month ago, it is very sturdy and does not flex. It was packaged as well as electronics. I have only tested it with my 18", 58 cc saw. I will review it again when my 36", 105 cc saw arrives. I am still waiting on my rail guides, but this mill is much better built than others I have seen.
