The unit is a great size and looks amazing. My 19 year old granddaughter assembled it for me. I don't have the trashcan yet to put inside of it but I feel it will serve our purpose. The flat top will allow for extra space and I plan to put extra trash bags in the drawer.

I seen other wooden ones at a local store. Priced at $363.00. crazy! Paid $99.00 for this one. Has a ratchet hinge to open. Don't think you could be super rough when opening it constantly but is well built. You do need to be Handy to put together. Has lots of parts. Husband is very mechanical so no problem. Very smart looking.
