Even though synthetic, once washed polar fleece is soft next to your face. It is long so you can double wrap, wrap your neck and run it over your head covering your ears. Loop it, knot it, lots of options due the length. It is getting the job done, but I wouldn't give it high rating for attention to detail. This was a piece of fleece simply cut, surged, folded and shipped. Like all things today don't expect high quality seams or craftsmanship. Polar fleece is not itchy, will retain warmth and block the cold and that is what I expected. Got the charcoal grey so it wouldn't show as much lint etc. that black does. Pleased with the product.
