Rock Sready

Great motherboard. I love that it has 2 USB 3.2 headers. The only thing I wish it had, are USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C internal headers and external ports - I missed that when purchasing. Almost returned it, but found type A to type C adapters. Using the Ryzen 9 12 core CPU - works fine. On initial OS install, LAN was very unstable, till drivers and BIOS updates were done. Note: Because of the LAN issues, I had to download ASUS updates with another machine, then use a thumb drive to install the updates. After installing the updates, all functions are stable. Configuration: Windows 11 Pro ASUS Geforce Rtx 4080 GPU Samsung 2tb 980 NVME Silverstone 1000W PSU. WD 16tb hard drive. Build Notes: Not a motherboard issue - The Rtx 4080 GPU is sweet, but it is a beast. It takes 3 seperate PCIE power rails, and uses a special pigtail connector that comes off the top of the card. I know of no computer cases that will close, between the size of the card and the card's bulky adapter cable. The 4080 engineers needed to think that through and make a recession to facilitate the adapter, or put power connections on the end of the card. To solve this, a vertical mount was used. This works great, but, takes all expansion slots - Period. For this reason, a built in type C USB would be beneficial, to make external expansion more practical. In conclusion, so far I am very happy with this motherboard. ASUS has donea fine job.

Amateur builder.

Amazing mobo, mid range, awesome pricing, booted right up, XMP'd my ram right away... even before I loaded windows. Love this board. Paired up with an i7 12gen F series, no need for me to overclock. Radeon 6700 XT, 32gbs of G. SKILL TridentZ RGB sticks, 36000mhz. Using the Enermax AIO, single fan cooler. Holding great temperatures, btw. EVGA super nova 850 gold. 1TB/2TB 970 evo plus M.2's.

Moptherboiard for a nice Unraid server.

Purchased for use in an unraid server using Gen 12 CPU. Added Dual 10Gbe Nic and SAS HBA controller. This motherboard has enough pcie x4 and x16 slots to support the expansion cards I need. 3 Gen4 M.2 slots, 4 sata ports, a gen 5 pcie16 and multiple x4 slots.Very stable so far. Previously used an MSI Pro Z690-A, but that board was not stable and kept dropping USB devices as well as having greatyer that 4 minute post times. This Asus board is a great replacement.
