I love this thing. If you’re thinking of buying one, I’ll kind of give you a break down on how long a canister will last you. I personally like a lot of fizz, so I do 5 pumps of carbonation to 1 bottle. I usually make 4 bottles of soda or sparkling water a day and 1 canister lasts me about 2 weeks. When I did 4 pumps when I first got it, I got 2.5 weeks out of it. So it will really depend on how “fizzy” you like your drinks. When my bottles are empty, I just take them to Target and exchange them for new ones, which cost $15 each. So I end up spending $30 a month on the carbonation bottles and then another $15-20 on the drink syrups. As for the taste, to me it tastes like what you would get at a restaurant, convenience store etc.

I have had a SodaStream for the past 10 years and have used it almost daily. Great product, the new terra version is simple and easier to use. The CO2 is just inserted instead of screwed in. The water bottle is also easier to put in for the carbonation.

One of the best gadgets I have ever purchased.

I absolutely love my sodastream. I pretty much only drink water and had been getting bored with regular flavored water. I figured I’d give the soda stream a try and have enjoyed it so much I have gotten one for my brother and best friend. Only thing I did different was got a 5lb CO2 tank and an adapter that connects to the soda stream which saves me a lot of money.
