Awesome Media Player!

I love this onn.Portable DVD/Media Player Kit for several reasons. First of all, the picture quality on this 10-inch player is terrific. Secondly, it's so easy to use. Third, the player is lightweight and so easy to carry with me wherever I go. I've already taken it to the beach (of course, being careful not to get sand in it) and listened to my favorite CDs while I relaxed. The player has an extended five-hour, built-in DC 7.4V Lithium-ion battery, so it didn't need charging until I got home. A remote control is included, which requires two AAA-size batteries. Also included is the AC/DC adapter, a 12V car cigarette lighter adapter, earphones, and codes to redeem for 5 one-night DVD movie rentals from redbox. The screen on the player swivels, so you can adjust it for the best viewing angle while watching movies. The unit also supports MP3 music files, JPG photo files, and MPEG2, AVI, and VOB video files up to 640 X 480 pixels. It has a USB port and also has a slot for your SD or MMC card. It can even be connected to your TV if you prefer. The one negative, in my opinion, is that the rechargeable battery in the unit is not replaceable. However, the battery should hopefully last a good long time if it's maintained properly.

Awesome for traveling

I'm thankful for this dvd player it came in use for our family vacation. It has a  10-inch screen. easy to use. It is  lightweight. the only negative I wish it had a carry case with it. The player has an extended five-hour, built-in DC 7.4V Lithium-ion battery, So it lasted for the trip. Theres a nifty remote control  included, that requires two AAA-size batteries. This player also  includs an  AC/DC adapter, a 12V car cigarette lighter adapter, some earphones for private listening and 5 codes for one-night DVD movie rentals from redbox. The screen is a cool swivel screen, so you can adjust it for the best viewing angle while watching your  movies.  There is a USB port and also a slot for your SD or MMC card. You can even  connect it to your TV if you want. I highly recommend.

Awesome to have! Good gift too!

So I got my hands on this ONN brand portable DVD/Media Player Kit from walmart and I could not be happier! This bad boy comes with extended 5 hr. Battery, and is very versatile for any location so you can watch any movie where ever you like! I think the only negative things I can find with this device is it takes absolutely forever to charge up once it dies! The charging cord also gets pretty warm so I do not like leaving it unattended when recharging. You can charge it while playing movies and I haven't noticed the cord any hotter than usual. The other thing I dislike is you have to sit still with it when the disc is in motion (obviously!). I just happened to lift up a little to adjust my table top and the device made a not so good sound. Not sure if the slight tilt upset the motion or if that is part of the reading process when it moves but I had to stop the disc to check if it had scratched or messed it up. Thankfully it did nothing that I could tell, I have just been cautious since. Lastly, the volume adjustment is nice if you're having a hard time hearing it but I wish it could be a little quieter through the main speakers. I'm sure my dog is not a fan of a very loud Office theme song playing while he is trying to nap, I have received many a noise complaint from the little booger!
