They were incredibly easy to assemble and even came with the tools needed, which made setup quick and simple. The packaging was the best I've ever seen—everything arrived perfectly protected. The leather seat and back are well-made, feel high quality, and the swivel is smooth without being loose. They're also very comfortable with great back support.

After assembling and living with this bar stool, I'm very pleased with the purchase. The first thing that stood out to me is the beautiful medium-brown tone of both the wood frame and leather seat. In my case, it complements several different wood finishes and upholstery pieces in my great room. The design strikes a really nice balance. It has just enough traditional detailing to give it character. The carved accents, low spindle back, and nailhead trim add visual interest. The seat height is perfect for a standard bar, and the stool feels sturdy and well constructed. The leather seat is comfortable, and the nailhead trim coordinates nicely with other classic furniture pieces (it was a perfect match with my sofa). Another appreciated feature is the smooth swivel mechanism. Assembly is straightforward, but there are two small things new users should know that are not clearly explained in the instructions: • The swivel plate ships very tight and may initially feel like the plates are fused. They are not. Give the top plate a firm twist to separate it, which allows it to rotate so you can access the screw holes. (If you don't do this, you will be stumped as I was initially.) • When tightening the screws with the Allen wrench, remember that the short and long ends of the wrench can be used interchangeably. Rotating the wrench orientation makes it much easier to tighten screws in tight spaces. Step %23 4 requires the long end to be vertically oriented. Once assembled, the stool feels solid, swivels beautifully, and looks far more expensive than stock pics. This looks and feels like a bar stool found in a real bar! Overall, this is a well-designed, attractive bar stool with a timeless look and excellent color balance. I would definitely recommend it.
