Women's Reebok 8" Metal Free Tactical Work Boot RB897

These boots have stiching inside in the back that is very rough against the outside of my ankle and rubbed a blister on my ankle. After trying a range of different ways to mitigate it, none of which stayed in place, my final solution was to put 3 layers of moleskin over the stiching covered by Gorilla tape to keep in in place (stickier than duct tape). So far that is working, but wouldn't be needed on a boot with better finishes that keep surfaces smooth inside. I also have to wear thick socks. I am a search dog handler and also go on long hikes so my boots need to be comfortable over rough terrain for long periods.
