Bear Archery Bullseye X Recurve 20 lb Youth Bow – 48"

A good started bow for children, my son has used it for over a year now. Good quality construction. Recently disappointed to find out that the arms cannot be purchased separately. Bought this bow specifically so my son could advance up to higher weights and draw lengths as he grew -- but I was told the arms can't be purchased without purchasing a new base. This seems counterintuitive to the takedown design and concept of a children's bow with multiple bow arm weights!

Limbs have a sharp ledge near the tips that the bow string always catches on when stringing. After stringing this bow 4 times the bow string is frayed in one spot making it dangerous to use. Should be a smooth surface and operation.
