I bought this bird feeder for winter to make it easier to fill with seed where I don't have to walk through snow and where it would not make a mess on my grass or in my landscaping. I have taken quite a few pictures of birds up close with this and I absolutely love it. It hold quite a bit of seed and have had up to 3 small finch size birds in it at one time.
