I mixed it with water and I used one of those hand mixers to make sure there weren't any lumps. The taste is a little sour, but I'm not mad about it. tastes like a sports drink. not gritty at all. is actually clear after mixed. container is smaller than most protein powders, but a small price to pay for protein that doesnt have the taste or texture of a milkshake in my opinion. i cant stand shakes so this is perfect for me.
