I love how easy it is to use! How well it works overall! And just the whole thing, it's amazing. I've recommended it many times.

The tool is wonderfully designed with many capabilities. The manual includes only a few components of my model (wave) but I'm previously familiar with it. The manual does make reference to the potential binding effect of the build up of the black coating of the various items which need to slide past one another, although the wording of the reference didn't make it clear to me what the reference meant. It did indicate that moving the items that were stiff regularly would restore smooth and easy movement of the involved items. When I found opening an item I was particularly interested in to be difficult, I hoped that I then had discovered what had been an odd %26 unclear reference in the manual %26 by persisting in opening then closing the item several times I could feel it gradually moving more easily. I may be unusual in my tendency to fully read manuals but I think it might be worth while to state the potential binding or stiff, difficult opening of some items more clearly %26 maybe with a flag of some sort (maybe “Important! Please Note:" before the explanation o what the cause of the problem is and how it will improve with use over time would be helpful. I think that showing recognition that people will disconcerted when they find it difficult to open items in the leatherman and that it may in fact be quite difficult to move items at first will validate new users' experience %26 then provide them with the useful fix.
