I don't purchase items without looking into quality, price, and customer reviews. I'm completely satisfied with this purchase. The mattress has perfect amount of firmness and is real comfortable. My husband weighs approx 230 and he slept great on it. My daughter loved it too. She finds any excuse to sleep on it even if we don't have company over. We love that if folds up. It saves space and can be used as a mini sofa. My daughter sits on it when she plays on her game system. It is not heavy and is easy to relocate from one room to another. Excellent buy. Highly recommended. Oh, and I didnt notice any weird smell when I opened it. It just smelled new to me :) It arrived fast and in great condition.
