longer lasting than plastic

I bought this one to replace the plastic tube feeder. that's overtime. became brittle and cracked. this one is made of some sort of aluminum or stainless steel. it's definitely going to last much longer, at first I was skeptical that the birds wouldn't use it but they use it every single day.

These feeders are gorgeous and practical. I have had 2 for several years and this year with the unusual for us cold weather, decided to get another. Same feeder was now also in purple to go with my yellow, red and blue. I loved watching all the perches on all the feeders full of finches. Roof slides up for easy filling and a little overhang for some weather protection.Practical
