It arrived as quoted. It has some weight to it , which makes you noticed that the parts that matter for strength are made of metal. The handle to hang the scale and hook to hang the fish are metal. I've weighed a couple catfish and checked the weight to know items and it's accurate. The only thing I would change is the tape measurer to a thicker wider one to make it more sturdy for measuring fish. and the grippers seems pretty decent and to me were just a bonus to the scale.

Not just a fish scale

I didn't buy this just to weigh fish! I main bought to weigh my trash only cause the city only allows a certain amount per bag. It easy to read and reliable. This scale has so many different uses. I wish I would have purchased this sooner so I wouldn't have to deal with the city saying my trash was to heavy! It's fairly inexpensive and convenient.
