Several grades above other rugs
I was wondering why this rug was more expensive than others … it's because the quality is wayyy above others. I bought several rugs for my home renovation - Macy's, Home Depot and Walmart . This one was hands down the best quality even compared to the other some more expensive rugs.. 1. The carpet just looks richer 2.It's 2-3 times heavier than the others (including other safavieh rugs I bought) 3. Due to its weight it lays flat and does not move around easily (it takes 2-3 days to flatten out) 4. Fabric is much softer and tighter knight.

Great Rug, Poor Packing
Rug is beautiful, exceeded my expectations, unfortunately the packing could have been better, it was rolled, and packed in plastic, which unfortunately ripped at the seam and part of the back of the rug was soiled; hence the reason for 1 less star. Luckily it didn't come through to the front, and it would have been a hassle to return. Packing needs to be improved, delivery was actually prompt considering its the holiday season.
