I purchased this due to the need for a coffee table to would raise to work on puzzles and do other things. It was very easy to assemble and they also have a link to review an assembly video which I did not need but thought it was nice. The top is smooth and is perfect for puzzles. The inside storage is nice and the barn door storage area is large. So happy with the purchase.
