The great value frozen kernel corn is a staple in my freezer. Great price, great taste. I usually take only the amount I need , chip clip the bag then put it back into the freezer. I use this corn in recipes, sauté with onions and mixed peppers , or cook alone with seasonings and add butter and cheese.

I grew up in central Iowa. Corn fields and cows EVERYWHERE. One of my favorite side dishes was Sweet Corn smothered in cream cheese, salt and pepper.. Jump ahead 50 years, twice widowed so supper is simple, cooking for just me, twice a week in put this exact bag of Sweet Corn in the microwave. 5 minutes later I add a quarter of a block of cream cheese. Stir til cream is melted, coating corn and supper is served. Yummmm this corn is delicious. Give it a try, you’ll be glad you did.

I like to keep a few bags on hand in my freezer. I can easily add to a meal. I also add to casseroles to make it extra filling for my family. Or I just take some diced onions, diced garlic with some butter and a bag of frozen corn and sauté in a pan and my family will destroy it without hesitation
