Love this which we put in our Kitchen, which front door leads into, and put under our coats hooks. Definitely sturdy enough to sit on to put your shoes on and holds a lot of weight easily.

This shoe rack bench fits perfectly in my entryway. It was really easy to put together. The instructions say a drill and a screwdriver are needed for assembly, but if you don't have a drill you can very easily use just a screwdriver and make sure to tighten all screws. Once it is fully assembled it is very sturdy. Just one thing to note, larger sized shoes do not fit in one cubby side by side as shown in the pictures online. However, they do fit if you lay the shoes down as if you would in a shoe box. I only mentioned it for the potential buyers that are very particular about the little details, otherwise it isn't a problem at all. Overall this is perfect for me.
