If not, I definitely recommend hiring someone who does. Before starting, make sure you have all the screws and bolts. Open the box from the top, not the sides—just in case you need to return it, it’ll be way easier to pack everything back up. I suggest laying out all the wood pieces and following along with the video while looking at the manual. That really helped me. I built it on my own, and it took about four hours (would’ve been quicker if I didn’t have to keep an eye on my kids!). Be careful when using the drill—this isn’t real wood, so it can crack easily. I learned that the hard way with my first drill. But seriously, the video made a big difference. It turned out so perfect for my small living room—I love it!
