Quality craftsmanship and material. Wash and dry well, smoothed out with the brush of a hand, no wrinkles. However, if choose to use for upgraded table setting, guests, etc. will require slight touch-up with low setting iron to give them that brand new appearance. Totally optional though. *These placemats seem to be durable enough for everyday meals, toss in washer, and dry frequently, which is exactly what I was looking for. These can easily be spruced up with nice tableware and a fringe napkin for a lovely table setting, casual or semi-formal. Anticipate this set to last a long time. Would purchase again.
