I am very happy with this raised garden bed and will probably buy 2 more. The final product is excellent, but the assembly process can be a bit tedious. Here are a few crucial tips that will save you some frustration based on my experience building it: Keep the bolts loose: It is incredibly helpful to keep the bolts loose during the initial setup. In fact, you won't get very far if you don't, because you will constantly have to backtrack and loosen them up just to get everything properly aligned. Tighten everything at the very end! Watch the middle support bar: The included instructions show the middle support bar being placed at the top. This is incorrect. The support bar actually needs to go right in the very center middle of the bed. Wear the gloves: The metal can be a little rough around the edges, so it's a really good idea to use the safety gloves they provide in the box. Design, Capacity, %26 Fit: Excellent Drainage: This bed has no bottom, so proper drainage shouldn't be an issue at all. Soil Capacity: It took exactly 5 bags of 2-cubic-foot raised bed soil to fill it up perfectly. Be Careful When Filling: Watch out when dropping your soil bags inside. I accidentally snagged a bag on the interior butterfly bolts, which lifted the bed up, let some soil escape out the bottom, and messed up my decorative rock layout underneath. Just be careful there! Great Planting Space: It holds a surprising amount! I was able to comfortably plant 1 Celebrity tomato, 2 lunchbox bell peppers, 4 marigolds, and 4 portulacas, with a half row of carrots and green onions right down the middle. It still feels like it has decent space and isn't overcrowded. Highly recommend, just take your time with the build!
