This strap is a fine artificial leather that compliments my new guitar. The strap length is adequate to keep the guitar down around your hip rather than just under your chin like most f the other straps do because they are too short. After spending over $1K for the guitar, I wanted something to complement the KOA Wood finish and this design did it perfectly. The strap width is not so wide that it cuts into your neck, yet appears to be strong enough to support even the heaviest solid body guitars. The cut-outs for the strap connectors on the guitar, fit securely whether you are using strap locks or just the standard strap button. Judging by the build quality, I believe this strap will last me for many years of performing, unlike the cloth straps that rot and fall apart after just a few years use. Many years ago I had a real leather strap on my Stratocaster that leaked the black dye all over my shirt when I perspired while performing. This p-leather should be immune from dampness and also be colorfast. The other designs are also nice, but I missed the sale before Christmas ... still at the regular price it is a great buy!
