This is a money saver! My 18 year old son packs his lunch super hot and he gets to enjoy a healthy meal out on the field as he works in the construction industry and microwaves are not readily available for him to use. Chicken and rice packs in this nicely. Since I bought this, he's not packing himself a sandwich every single day. It's very convenient since he prefers to rest and enjoy his meal during his lunch break instead of having to find a place to buy food from. It's very easy to clean since there are no corners in the container. Also, the food does not get trapped in the lid. I just purchased a third container (two oval %26 one round). They are not cheap but they do last and honestly they are the price of 3 fast food meals in this economy. The first two we purchased about 6 months ago or more and they are still going. The lids close as tightly as they did on the first day.

I have been looking for a bigger insulated lunch box for my high school son for a while. This one is a good fit. Wide opening and can hold enough for a teenager boy. I tested it by pouring hot water in the container. After 4-5 hours, the water was still very hot.
