For the stubborn creases, flip the rug over and place a damp towel over the crease. Use the synthetic setting, and iron the damp towel; this should remove the crease.

I bought this rug over a month ago and at first it refused to lay flat, took a few days for it to settle down. It was exactly as pictured on the site and filled the floor space exactly as I imagined. So far I'm pleased with the purchase. This is not a washable or dry cleanable carpet, so not a good idea to place it where it going to get soiled.
