This item was very easy to setup for our living room. Just ensure that if you want the best audio possible, you'll need an optical cable (not included). After plugging power into the device and then the optical cable, it was pretty easy to setup audio- I had to change some audio settings on the TV, and swap to the optical mode on the included remote. Very easy to use, although, since it is an IR remote, it doesn't play well with the Google TV Streaming Box, which is annoying. There are two caveats to this device: 1. It automatically turns off after 20 or so minutes of no activity and 2. you cannot turn the light off! For $30, this is a no brainer for those looking for an entry level home theater. One last note, there is no external subwoofer, bass is built in, not really the best, but that is what you pay for.
